This article really made me think. I like that. We've all sat by and watched the diet industry bounce from one theory to another. First eggs were bad for us, loaded with cholesterol and if we ate more than two a week we were destined to stroke out at a young age. Then what happened? Ooops! Sorry, we were wrong about eggs. They're not as bad as we though. Enjoy an egg every day and you'll be fine. The same has happened with weight loss. There are "experts" who swear that a vegetarian diet is key to a long and healthy life. There are those who, like the famed Dr. Atkins, tout high protein and animal products as the golden goose of weight loss. This lengthy, but will researched article lays out several theories and challenges the reader to consider if the "truth" isn't somewhere in the middle.
