This is an interesting article about what effects snacking have on the teeth. Not only do the type of snacks matter but how why eat them matters too. High protein snacks are better for over all teeth health because they are typically lower in sugar and higher in water and fiber. Sugar has a negative effect on our teeth and increases acidity in the mouth so according to the article high protein snacks are a better choice over high carb snacks.
