The site provides a person at a healthy weight the amount of servings of each food group they need daily. If you are above a healthy weight there is only a blurb about speaking with a doctor, but they do provide a link to see if you were at a healthy weight what the recommendations would be. Not helpful in my opinion for the overweight but a good resource for those people at a healthy weight.
Nice interactive source. Makes a good print-out after you receive your results. Really like that it's tailored to your age, sex, height, weight and amount of activity.
This is a decent tool, however this government food pyramid may not contain the necessary pieces for the ultimate in nutrition. I would also read this additional Harvard article found here on Wego health as well... http://www.hsph.harvard.edu/nutritionsource/pyramids.html
